Data Collection for Fisheries Management in Buri Ram, Thailand

The SEAFDEC Training Department (TD) in collaboration with the Department of Fisheries (DOF), Thailand conducted the data collection using questionnaires to assess, identify the key success, and the lesson learned of the fisheries management project implementation that integrated gender dimension and livelihood improvement in fishing communities at Subsomboon Community in Buri Ram Province, Thailand from 2 to 4 March 2021. The total sampling number is 47 households who are the group members of the Aquatic Animal Food Bank Project in year 2021. Then, the collection data will be analyzed and report back to the community as information for fisheries management and livelihood improvement together with gender dimension plan in the future. This activity is under the project of “Small-scale Fisheries Management for Better Livelihood and Fisheries Resources”.
