The Regional Training Course on Fish Population Dynamics and Fisheries Management

The SEAFDEC Training Department (SEAFDEC/TD) organized “The Regional Training Course on Fish Population Dynamics and Fisheries Management Using R-statistical Program” from 8 to 12 August 2022 at SEAFDEC/TD, Samut Prakan, Thailand. The Training aims to strengthen the capacity of human resources from the AMSs on fish population dynamics and fisheries management using the R-statistical program through share the updated information on population dynamics of transboundary species in the region. There were 18 participants who are fisheries officers and/or researcher from ASEAN Member States attended in this Training Course. The Training focused on R-statistical program and package for fisheries, biostatistical analyses, estimation parameters in fish population dynamic by using R packages and so on. This training is an activity under the project “Sustainable Utilization of Fisheries Resources and Resources Enhancement in Southeast Asia”
