Tailor-made Training Course on Basic Seamanship

As requested by the Faculty of International Maritime Studies, Kasetsart University, Sriracha Campus, “Tailor-made Training Course on Basic Seamanship” was organized by SEAFDEC Training Department (SEAFDEC/TD) for 33 students from 15 to 19 May 2023 at SEAFDEC/TD, Samut Prakan, Thailand. This training aims to build capacity for understanding and increase knowledge through experience in basic seamanship. The lecture on vessel structure, safety at sea, navigation bridge, and so on was imparted by the Chief Officer of M.V. SEAFDEC 2 and his team. Moreover, the student had a chance to visit M.V. SEAFDEC and practice on seamanship in M.V. SEAFDEC. The student can apply knowledge and experience from this training for their job in the future.
