Training on Gender Mainstreaming in Fisheries Sector in Cambodia

The SEAFDEC Training Department (SEAFDEC/TD) in collaboration with Fisheries Administration (FiA), Cambodia organized “The Training on Gender Mainstreaming in Fisheries Sector” from 14 to 16 March 2023, at FiA office, Phnom Penh, Cambodia. The training aims to ensure a better understanding and awareness of gender aspects and to know how to mainstream gender in developing fisheries management projects and programs. There were 24 participants (5 males and 19 females) attending. In the end, the participants understood gender including relevant concepts, introduction tools for gender mainstreaming, and practice in planning for gender mainstreaming in fisheries.
