Training on the Use of eACDS Applications for Cambodia

SEAFDEC Training Department (SEAFDEC/TD) organized “The Training on the Use of electronic ASEAN Catch Documentation Scheme (eACDS) Applications in the Part of Catch Declaration (CD)” from 21 to 22 June 2023 at Koh Kong Province, Cambodia. The training aims to impart knowledge on the use of eACDS applications in the part of CD. There were 8 participants from Cambodia who are Fisheries Administrative (FiA) officers who engage in the eACDS activities attending this training. In the end, the participants were expected to understand the use of eACDS applications in the part of CD and will be trainers for relevant stakeholders in the future.

The eACDS is an application for enhancing a traceability system for fish and fishery products from fishing to a plate. The implementation of the eACDS required good governance in fisheries management, particularly monitoring, control, and surveillance. The eACDS consists of two applications: a web-based application and a mobile application.
